Tribe log lines follow fixed patterns. Knowing them lets you filter noise, spot raids early, and understand what the bot's categories mean.
The tribe log is the game's own record of what happened to your tribe: every structure destroyed, every tame lost, every player killed, every tame claimed. It lives in the Tribe Manager (L) under LOG, newest line first, each line starting with the in-game day and time: Day 640, 00:35:08: Your 'Thatch Ceiling' was destroyed!
Line types
Structures
Your 'X' was destroyed!— someone or something destroyed a structure. The line usually includes coordinates for the structure. Raid signal.Your 'X' was auto-decay destroyed!— timer decay, not an attack.Name demolished a 'X'— a tribemate demolished it on purpose. Noisy while building.
Players and tames
Tribemember Name - Lvl N was killed by ...— a tribemate died. The killer (player, tame, wild) is named. Raid signal when killed by a player.Your Rex - Lvl 150 (Rex) was killed by ...— a tame died. Killed by a player/tame = raid; starved/froze/drowned = husbandry.Your Tribe killed Name - Lvl N— your tribe (turrets or players) killed an enemy. Turrets firing at a player is often the first line of a raid.
Taming and claiming
Your Tribe Tamed a X - Lvl N,Name Claimed 'X',Name Unclaimed 'X'— useful for accountability, not alerts.Name froze X/uploaded/downloaded— cryopods and transfers. Watch for mass cryo by a new member: insider raids start here.
Tribe membership
Name was added to the Tribe, left the Tribe, was promoted, alliance changes. Insider risk again.
Sensors and alarms
- Tek Sensor and alarm lines (who/what tripped them). Sensors on approach paths give you the earliest possible warning.
What the colours mean
Red lines are losses (destroyed, tribemates killed). Purple/magenta lines involve kills your tribe made or tames lost. Green is gains (tamed, claimed). Yellow is demolish/decay and membership. White is everything else. Colours vary slightly between versions, which is why ASA Tribe Log Bot classifies by the words in the line and only uses colour as a sanity check.
"My tribe log is not showing"
- You must be in a tribe — solo players have no tribe log until they create one.
- The log only updates while the Tribe Manager is open; close and reopen it after joining a server.
- Official servers trim the log length; very old events fall off. A Discord feed keeps the history forever.
Questions
▸How long does the tribe log keep events?
A limited number of recent lines; older ones scroll off. Posting to Discord gives you a permanent searchable history.
▸Why do coordinates appear on some lines?
Structure destroyed/demolished lines include the structure's world coordinates, which tells you which part of the base is being hit.
