Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-08-22. This policy describes what ASA Tribe Log Bot (the desktop app) and this website collect.

What the app sends

  • License checks — your license key, a name for your PC (computer name and Windows user name), the app version and, if you linked it, your Discord user ID and name are sent to our server to activate the license and re-validate it about once a day. This lets us enforce the PC limit and support you.
  • Update check — the app asks GitHub for the latest release. GitHub sees your IP address.
  • Your Discord — everything the bot posts goes straight from your PC to the Discord webhook or bot you configured. We never see your tribe logs, screenshots or webhook URLs.

The app does not collect game account details, chat contents or telemetry beyond the above.

What this website collects

  • Visitor analytics (first-party) — we set a cookie (atlb_vid, 1 year) with a random visitor ID and record the pages you view, the time, the referring site and campaign tags, your IP address, approximate country, browser and device type. We use this to understand how people find the site and whether they become customers. We also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies.
  • When you buy, we store your name, email, order reference and license key to deliver the key and provide support. Payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout; we never see card details.
  • If you link Discord, we store your Discord user ID and display name next to your license and your visitor record.
  • Standard server logs kept briefly by our hosting provider (Vercel).

You can clear the visitor cookie in your browser at any time; a new random ID is then assigned. To have your visitor history deleted, contact us with your visitor ID (shown in your browser's cookies) or your license key.

Retention and deletion

License and purchase records are kept while your license is valid and for accounting purposes afterwards. Email us or message on Discord to delete your Discord link or account data.
